British Home Buyers have exceeded my expectations on every level and got me an offer and sale within 2 weeks of listing my property with them.

My property had previously been listed with a local agent, and despite lots of interest, and a few low ball offers, I finally took it off the market after 6 months.

In the meantime, I was receiving lots of marketing letters from various agents, one of which was British Home Buyers (BHB), but I was reluctant to relist the ppty again. However, eventually I looked in to BHB and gave them a call, and so glad I did.

From the first call of enquiry, to listing my property with them, to getting viewings, to getting an offer (at asking price!!) through to completion of sale - every aspect of the process and interactions with the team at BHB was impeccable.

Alex, Molly, Hannah - thank you for all the efforts to getting me the buyer. And Charles Gale- the most wonderful, kind, gentle, patient and charismatic gentleman - the agent who took over once sale had been agreed. His navigation of the sale to successful completion was simply amazing. He managed the communications so eloquently between lawyers and bridged the gaps when things got a bit stuck during the conveyancing process. Full of industry knowledge and he simply loves what he does and being of service :)

I will remain forever grateful for Charles's counselling, guidance and giggles during those times when I felt completion was never going to happen.

Charles and the team at BHB remained accessible at all times through out the process, and totally professional, and every communication with them left me smiling and reassured.

Highly recommended!! Highly Worth it. It was a pleasure working with you and without a doubt you are on speed dial if I need to buy or sell in the future.

I can’t help but feel that the positive reviews are either from indirect clients or paid media because our experience was entirely the opposite. British Home Buyer came to us with big promises, claiming they could guarantee a sale within different timeframes: £725k for a 7-day sale, £745k if we waited 3 weeks, and around £775k in 3 months. They assured us they had a vast network of investors ready to buy properties in our area and even put these guarantees in writing.

However, it was all a lie. Instead of selling to these so-called "investors," they just listed our property on Rightmove like any other agent. No investors, no viewings, nothing. It was a complete waste of time.

I strongly advise anyone to stay far away from this company. Don't trust their promises, no matter how convincing they may seem.

We found the communication from the whole company very good throughout the whole process. From initially signing up to finding views and feedback to getting the offers and throughout the purchase process. One thing we found especially good was, we where not bombarded with phone calls or emails regarding the process and updates, unlike some on the high street ones. Whenever I phoned to find out what was happening or to ask or clarify something, if my caseworker was not available anyone else found my file quick and easy and answered my questions or passed my comments on to the relevant person, I would also get a corresponding email or phone call to confirm received message or answers. The only criticism we gave as we relocated to a different county, there being an only online estate agent there was no estate agent office to drop the key off to this made key exchange more difficult. The other recommendation we would make is do not use there recommended solicitors as they took nearly a month to send us the pricing and notification paperwork. Would definitely recommend and have to colleagues and family, would happily use again if I sell again.

From beginning to end BHS were great. My initial contact, Sabrina was very informative and professional. Robert Love took on my case and kept me well informed all the way along. When BHS found a buyer, everything was straightforward. Robert liaised with my buyer and me and kept me in the loop all the way along. There was no ambiguity or miscommunication.
